Keep your cell phone off:
- It’s no secret that texting while driving is a huge epidemic when it comes to all drivers, but especially when it comes to teen drivers. It might be hard to not have your phone but it will be better than getting into an accident and hurting yourself or someone else.

Obey the speed limit:

Recognizing the importance of safe driving this December, King Kia of Laurel, MD has put together a comprehensive DIY guide on changing your headlights. King Kia Of Laurel’s Guide To Replacing A Headlight:
- Open your hood and use the provided prop stand or another sturdy object to keep it securely open.
- Disconnect the power connector from the rear of the headlight. You may need to gently turn or jiggle it to loosen.
- Remove the dust cover from the back of the headlight, twisting it if necessary to release.
- For some vehicles, there might be a clip securing the bulb in place. Depress the clip to release the light bulb.
- Grasp the bulb housing and gently pull it out. Be cautious and wiggle it if needed, avoiding pulling on the glass or using excessive force to prevent breakage and potential injury.
- Compare the old and new bulbs by their housings to ensure they match.
- To ensure the bulb is free from dust and fingerprints, use a pre-moistened alcohol wipe or rubbing alcohol on a dust-free cloth to gently wipe it.
- Align the bulb housing with the open socket and carefully insert it, ensuring a secure fit.
- Slide the bulb back into place and twist if required to lock it securely.
- If your vehicle has a clip, reattach it, and then replace the dust cover and power connector.
- Turn on your headlights to confirm that the bulb and connection are functioning properly.
- Close the hood securely and give yourself a well-deserved round of applause!
