We hope to see you soon!

What’s Dimming Your Headlights?

  • First things first, cleaning your headlights could really solve most driver’s issues when it comes to dim headlights. And in the event that your headlights are foggy, there are plenty of ways to fix this even from the comfort of your own driveway. But we do recommend having your headlights replaced altogether to ensure that no moisture continues to cause a foggy look and make it difficult to see the night road.
  • If your lenses look dull, this could mean they have become oxidized. This means your headlights have dulled due to wear and tear from the environment. Reconditioning your lights could be the simple solution to this pesky problem! Plus, you can do this from the comfort of your own driveway. Grab an abrasive and a polish to remove the layer of oxidation off the plastic. And, voila! Need help? Give us a call and let our team take care of this for you!
  • After cleaning your headlights, if you still feel that they may be dim, it’s probably a good idea to swap out your bulbs for fresh new ones. We recommend upgrading to LED capsules or HID’s to give yourself a bright view if you currently have halogen bulbs. HID lights do require a bit more effort in order to be installed but our team can take care of that for you so no need to worry!
  • In the event that only one bulb has burnt out, we recommend replacing both bulbs immediately to ensure that there are no additional underlying issues in your system. When it comes to your headlights, it’s important to be proactive and make sure your vehicle is safe and doesn’t have any damage happening in places that you are unable to see.
